Branson Shows

They were Branson's FIRST country music and comedy show. Branson has seen many changes since 1959 when Bill and Jim Mabe, along with brothers Lyle and Bob, began the Baldknobbers and performed in downtown Branson in the old City Hall. With 50 folding chairs and homemade instruments (a washboard and jaw bone for rhythm, a wash tub bass, a banjo and a dobro), they entertained the fishermen that came to Lake Taneycomo. Katie and Joyce, their wives, walked around in country dresses carrying signs to advertise the show.

Full-scale production set in a 35,000 square foot arena featuring six tons of stampeding American buffalo, 32 horses, racing pigs and ostriches, and dozens of talented singers, dancers, trick riders and costume-clad servers who bring to life Dolly's story of America. Audience members are encouraged to take sides! Dinner is a four-course feast.

Exudes elegance with warm woodwork, sophisticated art pieces, antiques, exquisite fabrics. 'Moon River' is a koi stocked pond running beside the building.

The first theater opened on Branson's famous Highway 76.

Easily the most incredibly fun two-hour show in town, Mickey Gilley is the shining light of Branson, Missouri when he takes the stage with his band.

Yakov’s personal experience of coming to America is touching and his take on American culture is absolutely hilarious. Yakov’s genuine love for America is apparent throughout his show, and his patriotism is positively contagious. As Yakov says, “What A Country,” you’ll feel like cheering for the red, white, and blue!
